ADAT To WAV file

Hi. I have some original adat tapes from recording in a studio approximatley 8 years ago and I want to have the tracks converted to wav files for remixing. The problem is I don't have any adat machines. What should I do? Buy some used adats or pay someone to have these tracks (10 songs at 16 tracks each) converted to wav files. Any advice is appreciated. Also I live in the houston, tx area.

It would probably cost less to rent some time at a local studio with the capability of bringing in the 16 tracks of ADAT into the computer and saving them as .wav files.

Yep... go to a local studio in your area... format transfers aren't going to be that expensive.......

Yeah that's what I thought. Just didn't know what the cost would be. I'll shop around some local studios to find out. Thanks for your help.
