I'm proud at this, what do you guys think of it?

Hey this is an acoustic song, a rough idea for my band. It's gonna be longer than this, so the song's not completely finished. But I'm so happy with this part! What do you guys think of it? Download Kill Me On Time here:

I like it! nice concept and love the vocal harmonies

you do, however, need a lot of work on the mix....

and get that guitar in tune for crying out loud

sure, I'll give it another listen later when I have some free time. However, if you want various opinions & advice about your mix, post your tune in the MP3 mixing clinic.

Nice melody!

The mix -- bring up the vocals and add a bit of reverb to bring the song to life. It sounds like you're in a closet -- a good place to record, but then you want to add "presence"... Good tune, though... I enjoyed it. I like the lyrics, too.

...

good song. the vocal harmonies really hit you. it's short, though. make sure you hit them with the hook early on.

really liked it, i too thought the solo guitar was out of tune a little, also i could really notice a plosive sound as if you weren't using a pop shield. other than that, goodwork.

its not my style...well, anymore. but its not bad, the lead guitar part is a little corny but the vocals are pretty damn good. let me ask you, did you listen to a lot of Green Day at one time?

No I didnt use a pop shield, gotta buy one!

Green Day? No not really.. I listen actually to some bands that are probably inspired by them, like Yellowcard or New Found Glory.

But hey thanx guys for your feedback, awesome!

Real nice rhythm guitar. Energetic and played well. Rhytmn guitar is an unheralded but incredibly important piece of any quality band-pie. The song and singing is really good. My only suggestion would be to cut the intro in half. It's catchy, but the vocals should kick in sooner, IMHO... Good stuff...

who cares if the guitar sounds a lil out of tune for the solo... im not sure it'd have even crossed my mind if i didnt read it ..... it's only a very early recording .. my guess is this is idea stage of the song ...

shows that you have talent though
