Quick Question regarding vocals/shure sm-7/micpre

I got a SHURE Sm-7 for vocals sounds awsome and a distressor i got a eureka presonus mic pre and it doesn't sound that great, im abuot to buy a good expensive mic pre and am recording an album right now with our band similuar to linkin park style vocals, which mic pre would be similuar to there sound regarding color and cleanness and punch etc?
