MD to Computer: MD Port I/O

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if this thing works?? I found it online, but my MD is Sony, and I hear they've made it extremely hard to upload from MD to computer. Please post if you've used it, or even heard anything about it. THanks so much!!

What we want to do is copy the files over to our PC. I think even with the Xitel gizmo, you can't do that. You still have to "play" them into your sound recorder. The manuals can be downloaded. There are probably step-by-step instructions there.

I just got one and it works great. Some think they work better than an internal soundcard because there is no interference from the electronics inside the computer
