Angry Ridiculous 128MB CF making my MR8 time no fun!

I have one track of vocals and one track of acoustic guitar for a song that is no longer than 3 minutes long. I can't bounce the tracks to 7/8, so I copied track one (guitar) to track 7 and track two (vocals) to track 8 and erased one and 2. I wanted to make some .wav files so I could then transfer them to my PC and mix them via Ntrack, but it keeps saying "Out of capacity, over 3 min long". Do I have to make my song shorter? Is there a way I can attach an external HD to this thing? Am I stuck buying bigger CF cards, even though the damned thing wont use any old CF card?!?!? HELP!!!

Make sure you do the "delete unused" function after you delete the tracks, or use more takes over trakcs.

Glad it helped. took me a while to figure out why my songs would run out of time after a few takes. Then I was told from someone on here.

Man, ain't it great to learn about "delete unused". I remember when I got my MR8 a year or so ago and right off the bat thought I had been ripped off. While the card is small you should get 24 track minutes on it. In other words 8 tracks of a 3 minute song. When using my pc I just go ahead after I lay down a few tracks and transfer to my pc. Then when I get close to running out of time I delete whatever track is least needed on the MR8 to complete the song. The track is already on my pc so I can keep the recording flowing at a good pace.
