reverse latency?

Ok, so I have a new 428... well, new to me. Every thing functions as it out, except for the fact that I experence reverse latency-- after recording something, it places the recorded material slightly before the previous tracks... I'm running sonar 2.0 on a dell 2.4 ghz pentium 4.. any ideas how to fix this? I have tried the suggestion list-- messing with the latency settings, etc... doesn't change it a bit... any help would be gladly appreciated...

BlackDog is on a distinguished road
i had the same problem with my tascam fw1884(just bought it). but after playing around with the latency on the control panel of fw1884 and sonar audio settings, i got it fixed. it seemed like larger buffer size was causing the problem. as i used a smaller buffer size, the reverse latency was gone. weird!
