Is there such thing as...

a line level mixer?

A mixer without the pres, with multiple busses mainly to connect synths and modules.

There is something such as aline level mixer and stangely enough they are refered to as "line level mixers". Just do an ebay or a google search to start getting some ideas.

Again thanx fellaz for helping out.

I guess a better word for what i'm looking for is a line level small console mixer.

What i want is something with the faders and busses but no pres. Mainly I just didn't want a piece where the value of the pres (that I would make no use of) would be factored into the price i'd end up paying.
The mackie vlzpro 1604 and 1642 come to mind. There are prolly other differences between the 2 ,but I'm sure that the 1604 costs more mainly becuz of the 8 extra pres.

I want a console type mixer, so i'm bringing myself to accept that I'll be ending up with the extra pres.
Thanx again guys for helping.

How about some kind of DJ mixer? They have sliders but I think that they are pretty thin on PRES. However I am not a DJ and don't really know.
