does anyone have a document of what an official orchestra would look like. i know what ours looks like, but i'm not sure what an "official" orchestra looks like, or should i say band.

Flute, Oboe, Clar 1,2, &3, Bass Clar., Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Horn 1 &2, Trumpet 1 &2, Trombone 1 & 2, and Tuba.

There is many standard in orchestra. "Standard" is set based on instruments in the "Orchestra", and how many each instrument exist on particular group. Baroc style will have different set with Romantic style, and so chamber style, woodwind orchestra, gregorian style, etc... Sometime nowdays, some conductor will re-arrange how they sit on the set, deppends on the room and his taste.

I'm sure moskus wouldn't mind to look into one of preset in Edirol Orchestra...
