syncing Cakewalk Pro Audio 4.00 to my Fostex VF160

Can someone please help me? I'm using Cakewalk Pro Audio 4.00 in Windows 95 and want to sync it as a slave to my Fostex VF160. I've tried a few settings both in MTC and MIDI clock but nothing seems to work. I've heard that it may be that my version of Cakewalk simply won't sync up whereas others (even /earlier/ versions!) might.

Any insight into this predicament is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Daryle
