Smile What kind of cassettes??

Hey guys,
I was just wondering, what type of cassettes are better quality for using in a Tascam 424mkII. TDK, SA60, AM60, or SM30. . .?

Any preferences????

Yo Studio paradiddle man:]

If you can find Sony UX Pro cassettes, they're very good -- they have a ceramic mechanism that is very quiet and smooooooth.

Arrow

TDK SA, SA-X & CD Power cassettes seem to work fine for me, as well as Maxell XLII's. I've used these four types interchangeably, with satisfactory results.

XLII's. I've been swearing by these for years.

I use SA-X. The other most common choice would be XLII.
