CF Reader for MR-8 through printer?

I have a Hewlett Packard printer with card slots for use with digital cameras. Can I use this as a CF card reader to transfer tracks from my MR-8 to my computer? Or will I need a separate CF reader? (I have Win 98). Thanks.

i suppose if it accepts compact flash cards it shoiuld be fine, they are really cheap though, 15 bucks at wallmart, most of the card readers have the ability to read different types of cards, so you may be jsut fine, id give it a try, worst that could happen is have to reformat the card....
