Where to repair now?

Hello I have an ADAT XT-20 that’s in need of some minor repair. I was using the Studio Maintenance Center in San Rafael CA, but they seem to not be around anymore given that:

* they have no answering service on their phone line
* no one answers their phone
* their website has been “suspended”
* rumors have lurked that they are not authorized anymore

So, I’m thinking they are not around anymore. I’m not really into paying a lot to ship an ADAT for minor repair. Does anyone know of a place in the Bay Area, or anywhere for that matter that can do repairs? Or, does anyone have any advice for a new recording format?

Don't give up on your ADAT yet. Try here: http://www.audiodesign-service.com/alesiscustomers.html
They do flat-fee repairs and post reasonable repair charges on their website. Fedex or UPS shipping shouldn't be too much from SF to suburban LA.

The next audio upgrade step is an easy one: Alesis ADAT HD24.
