Fostex D2424 - Jack sockets... Crackling, intermittent noise ????

Hi there,

I use a D2424 and recently I have found that I am getting a lot of intermittent crackling from the output jack sockets.

It started off as every now and then, however, it has got worse.

Only seems to start once the unit has been on for over 30 mins...

Unit is 18 months old, I am wondering if this is maybe a case of wear and maybe a simple blast of switch cleaner will help, or if it something anyone else has come across, maybe low quality jack sockets, if so, any ideas on fixing the problem.

Any recommendations....

Other than that, the unit is top and has served me well, worth every penny.
