Marshall 603S vs Rode NT3?

I have liked the 603S, but I am curious about the NT3. I can get the Marshalls as a stereo pair with shock mounts for $199. The NT3 tends to go for $179 each.


Has anyone tried both of these mikes for acoustic guitar recording (PC DAW)? I am just curious if the Rode NT3 is really that much better or not.

Hey, tsphillips.

I recorded the song in my signature line with an NT3. I like it. I haven't compared it to a 603, but I did take it over to friend's studio and compared it to some $450 LD, and he thought the NT3 sounded better.
