wav manager

if its rebooting during editing (in cakewalk), then its not a problem with wav manager....

if it is during use of wav manager, have you tried redownloading the program and reinstalling it????

its a pretty stable program and rarelly has problems....

Why is wavmanager even open when you are doing edits in Cakewalk? It shouldn't be. I'm confused?

software

its kind of hartd to undrstand what you mean, but kdgospel is right as usual, you should have all other programs shut down when doing any editing or mixing....

Picker, what OS are you running, and tell us a bit about your computer, ie: W98 with a card reader, or W2000 or XP with direct usb cable hook-up. Hard to imagine that Wavemanager would cause any problem during editing, even if it were open.
