Would you buy monitors previously rented out?

When it comes to active monitors, would you buy them from a store after they've been rented out? While buying my new Yorkvilles, there was a couple of set that was discounted as they've been rented out. Anyway, i wasn't going to take a chance so i paid the retail price and got new ones. How do you guys see buying previously rented out monitors? The discount wasn't even all that great at $50.

I bought my monitors used from a local studio. at half the street price...

I won't bother with a $50 discount as well....
