mixing WAV files on Mac

can anyone recommend a good program for mixing wav files exported from the mr-8 to a mac?

I'm looking for something like N-Track which everyone seems to love, but that only works on PC....i had thought about ProTools Free but i read that does not work on OS X.

I just need something to mix the WAV files together, maybe adding a few effects/pan etc ready for burning to CD. I'm not looking to spend huge amounts of $$ - the cheaper the better.

Any Ideas??

nothing for the mac is cheap, go to adobe.com and check out what they have....

tim , im in computer graphics, macs of course and wow i didnt know there was such a variety of stuff for music on mac thanks alot....
