2816 by Yamaha question
Just burned 3 CDs on the 2816 and all came out with nothing but a line buzz. The CD player showed that the tracks had been burned; however, no sound, no music, no nothing. I reduced the HD's content. I suspect I may have had the Wave File WRITE enabled -- don't know how that happened but I did shut it down and am trying another CD. Anybody know what went wrong? Many thanks, Green Hornet ![]() |

Yo Yo Yo:For all of those out there who use the 2816, I offer this explanation. I burned 4 CDs got gotz. [That's Italian for, well, close to manure.} But, I re-positioned the 2816 so it was more level than tilted; Voila ==== the next CD came out fine. Don't really know if that's the cause/effect/defect/infect or merely a quark or quirk in the unit. But, I hope it stays stable. Thanks for those who thought about the problem or had a problem about the thought. Green Hornet ![]() |
