Any one Know where i can get a noise gate for cool edit pro 2.0 yeah and how would i go about setting it up

A gate is just compression to the extreme in reverse....sorta, so go to "EFFECTS >> Amplitude >> Dynamics Processing" and start out with "Electric Guitar Gate" as a preset. You'll have to jack with the attack and release settings most likely, but it's a decent starting point.
