Question

I have AKG 1000s supplied by battery. I own Soundcraft Spiritfolio F1 mixing desk. Is there a phantom supply from the mixer or what? How can I do it?
2. How should I isolate the room for unwanted noises? What material? thanx

Wink

Yep, the F1 has phantom power ... there should be a switch for it in the master section and an led should light when it's engaged.
Check out www.auralex.com for soundproofing and acoustics ideas. They have a good "Acoustics 101" pdf file that is worth the read.
Good luck
