Well it looks like in two days I will be the proud winner of a bid on a Samson Q3 kick drum mic. I do need a kick drum mic, but I was looking more for the AT pro-25 which is almost twice what I'll end up paying for this thing (and probably better). I'm getting a good deal. It's new and I'll get it for $35 under the usual going price.

Anyone use one of these?
I've been using a 57 for the kick- and I'll be happy if the Q3 is better than the 57 for the kick. If not, well, I'm sure I'll find some use for it!

There are a couple of these mics on the listings all new from the same seller (with a very high satisfaction rating) - so if you think you'd like to try one for $65 bucks, there are 2 days left- but leave MrHE's alone! There's a number of them!

When I get it I'll let the rest of you know weather or not a wasted my $.

Or if you know it's absolute crap tell me now so I can cancell the bid.
