Rewire in Audtion 1.5

Hey....

Just got 1.5 delivered yesterday and had to check it out right away. The two
big feature upgrades for me are VST compatibility and Rewire. My VST folder installed without a hitch -- works great, just like in any other VST host prog. Rewire works, also, although I've only tried it with Orion.

Here's what I like to do: work up loops, beats, phrases, whatever with Vsti's in Orion, and export them to .wav and then load them into CEP (Audition) for more detailed tweaking. This has worked fine for, well, years, with my only grip is that it's time consuming. With Rewire, I thought....wow, now I can just stream my Orion audio to Audition and play/record/track along with my beats in Audition, all in real time. This does work, in fact -- I tried it, with Orion's sequencer playing things I'd already set up (piano roll, loops, whatever). BUT......big but......I can't seem to play a vsti in Orion with my keyboard and have it record that output in Audition in real time ....Damn. This is something I was really hoping for. Am I missing something?

I know it just came out....but just thought I'd put it out there.

thanks

Oh, btw there are a variety of other button and navigation things that have changed....a little unsettling at first, but I've gotta admit -- they put some thought into everything, and it's clear they listened to we users . I like it.

Hmm... I wonder if that VST compatibility means it'll work with Fruity Loops (which is very VST frendy). It's a giant pain in any body part you'd care to mention working with Fruity Loops and Cool Edit.

Anybody know?
