Ok, I went with "Wake Up." Honestly, the recording is so bad, I can't really make out enough of the song to formulate an opinion. You know it's bad, so I guess I'd suggest making it better. You'd probably be better off (if you really just want songwriting opinions) posting an acoustic version with some audible lyrics.

Best of luck,
Nobody

I just listened to Savannah. You said "tell me what you think of the song". OK. Here's what I think...WARNING...review of songwriters songs is very subjective! I couldn't wait for it to end man. Everything about it is infantile. The chords, melody, words, structure, lack of "hook", delivery, vocals....usually, if I have nothing nice to say, I don't post...but as a 14 yr old, you have plenty of time to experiment and grow. Now for some constructive criticism.....you get an A for effort man, keep on truckin'. When you write lyrics...try to make the melody more exciting by varying the rhythm of the words from line to line...I got bored with your words always being in the same places.
When you sing...try to mouth the words as clearly as possible so that people can understand what your song is trying to convey. Your guitar playing needs work...don't worry...just keep playing, you WILL get better all the time. Your "progression" (choice of chords) was boring...it lacked cohesion...no easily repeated progression of chords for the listener to grab on to. It lacks familiarity...which all strong songs have....hope this helps man. good luck...
ps...I've decided not to listen to the 2nd one. tyvm

Thumbs up

Hey man. Good effort. At least you aren't too bashful to throw some stuff out there. Keep at it. Get a scale book or two, practice scales and runs and different chord changes about 3 - 4 hours a day, every day, until you can choke a mule to death with your fretting hand...until the ends of your fingers are like smooth little rocks. If you've got what it takes, in about five years you'll be ready to rip. Oh, and study up a bit on what it takes to develop your voice. That takes as much practice as learning to play a guitar. As your skill improve and you get some better music equipment, you'll find yourself making some pretty good music, I'll bet.

Dude I just listened to wake up. Ok here it is. You guys have a good start if you really are 14 like you say. If you are not, get a life. #2. Dude your from NY. why do you sound like your from the UK or something in your song. Not Cool. Do your own thing. The recording on the Quality side. Yeah sorry. But hey you guys got some stuff out and are putting it down. Good for you. just keep working at it. It will come if this is what you are good at.

hey, the songs do need some work, but keep practicing... a good wa to get beter at guitar, i did this... is.. get your favorite cd that you own... put it in the cd player... go online and get some tabs for them.. learn the songs... it wont help your songs that you have get better.. but u will become a better guitarist.. give it a shot.. unless u dont mind learning guitar from a book.
