Question Need to split a file

Is there a way split or divide a file in half at a certain point in Adobe Audition 1.0? If so, how can I do this? Please give simple instructions.

Thanks so much

Look for 'split' in Help - it's a multitrack function. There's also a Cool Edit forum here you can ask usage question in - they can hep you look up stuff and whatnot.

What did you do ? Were you in the multitrack view ?
