The Sugar Bowl EP

Folks, I'm pleased to announce that my band's first full on recording, entitled "The Sugar Bowl EP" has been released, and is submitted for your approval, critique, listening pleasure, whatever!

It was a long process, the first of it's kind with us as this incranation as a band. It was a lot of work, a lot of fun, a lot of late nights, and a lot of beer, etc. Our own Betty Rumble appears on vocals on Electro!, and Sonusman handled mastering the CD.

I may get into the process later if you're interested, but basically all tracks were recorded and mixed at my home studio 'the Rats Nest', minus the drums on 'Pandora', which were recorded at Harmonie Park Studios in Detroit, who have recently tracked George Clinton, Aretha Franklin, and the sons of Patti Smith and the MC5's new album. I thought that was neat.

Four tracks from from the five song EP are available on my RP Media page, encoded in high quality MP3's. http://www.recordingproject.com/medi...=47&category=0 Check out "Sybil Starvoid', 'Electro!', and 'Polly Ethelline'. The fifth track on the EP, 'Reflections of Pandora and the Chubby Red Auto', I'm holding back for now, if you want it you can buy the CD or just wait until some day when I eventually post it up here lol. But it's a good one if you like this kind of stuff.

If you'd like to purchase a CD now send me a PM, they're 6.50 including s/h for homerec/ recproj members only. For anyone else it's 8.50 with s/h. It's got some cool artwork and graphics, pro duped CD, shrinkwrapped, etc.

Hope you enjoy, and thanks everyone for the support in the recording process, all you guys who've come out to the shows to show your support, and especially Betty for the vocs and Sonus for the awesome job on the mastering!
