The good news is, the song's OK and the guitar riff is kinda catchy. Vocals are terribly out of tune though, and you can't blame the poor recording quality for that

Timing could be fixed easily by having the drummer use a click track next time.

I've been at this on and off for 40 years, and my early efforts were way worse than this. As long as you're having fun doing it, keep it up.

Work on polishing the song a bit. The vox definitely are out of tune but the guitar is not bad. Ever consider having someone else sing it?
