24-bit recording?

So, I'm recording on Audition 1.0 using my 24/96 Audiophile. How do I choose the desired(24) bit depth? While looking at the Settings tab I found out I can only choose between 16 and 32 bit for recording. Is this true? Same for pre-mixing and mixdown. I want to record in 24-bit, mix on 32 and dither down to 16-bit.

Is it possible with Audition 1.0?
