Mixer guitar EQ

I've got a small mixer(UB802) Would it hurt anything if I plugged my guitar into it, EQ'ed it, then plugged the output on the mixer into my amp input?

Thanks in advance,

Venesectrix

That is the way I use mine. Depending on amp style, you may need to lower the mixer output level to match your amps input. Start low and move up until it wounds right.
