Combining Vintage 30's and G12T-75's

what kind of pattern in a 4x12 cab would you put these? i dont have my cab set up for stereo btw....but should i go same kinds on top/bottom or x-pattern or same kinds on left/right? also, since the vintage 30's are probably louder...should they go on the top or on the bottom (if going with the top/bottom)
