Seems to me Au-di-tion processes a little faster, but could be, I'm thinking a little slower!

Trigger, I think I see a minor performance boost as well. Could be just a reinstalled program performance boost, like reinstalling Windows?

Dunno. Like the program, regardless of the name :-)

One difference (at least it used to be) -- Cool Edit Pro 2 had a CD burning plugin in Beta. AFAIK, Adobe hasn't brought that our for Audition yet.

So I get to pay $69. to keep a feature that was already available with CEP 2?

On the other hand, there are a bunch of features in Audition 1.5 that look like they are very much worth the money. Heck - Antares charges $200. for autotune alone. The interface is very similar - I wonder if Adobe has cut a quiet deal with Antares.

I've GOT to stop buying stuff and start making music! <grin>

rpc9943 can only hope to improve
actually that feature is going to be far more refined than the beta cd writer addition.

Look at the pdf on their new features and zoom in. Much better than before.
