I Need Help Please

First off sorry I am posting in 2 threads because it relates to both of these I just bought my Tascam 428 yesterday and can't get it to record through the mic inputs when I hit the record button it will just record whatever I have in track 1 (the beat for the song) and I can hear the mic coming out of my speakers but it wont record anything from it the green LED light is on for signal input as well does anyone know if there is any setting I need to change in C.E.P. 2.0

Thanks but I figured it out after 40 minutes on the phone with the NO HELP TASCAM TECH SUPPORT after I hung up with them I figured it out I had to go into my settings and change my default player to the Tascam 428 in all of my settings for playback and vocal recording
