Post Moving waveforms in multitrack view

Is there a way to select a waveform in multitrack view and drag it to a different position? I can't figure it out, and it seems like a really obvious feature that all multitrack software should use.

Cheers

Right click and hold.

Just place the cursor and hold the right mouse button down and drag.

you can drag the BLOCK anywhere including to other tracks or just move it around the timeline within the same track.

You dont have to select it first.

If you want to move the whole track to a new track, and keep the same relative timing to the other tracks, right click on the track to be moved and click on "Lock In Time" on the menu that comes up. Then when you right click/drag to the new space, it won't move to a different timing.
