SP C4 Mic Clips

I read a recent thread on the B1/B3 shck. mt. clip and after using my new C4's last night this reminded me....

How could you sell something that doesnt work? not even kinda work.....not even close to a tight fit??

The mics sounded really good....really good...

The mic clips/shck mt. were a joke and I'm kinda pissed...

I took some kleenex and wrapped around mics to make a tighter fit.....

But what happens if/when they let go?

Did someone forget to try them out?

I haven't seen any replacements availiable....is this a recurring problem w/ SDC?

Hmmm... that's weird. I got a pair about 2 weeks ago and mine seem to fit very snug. I think I heard something about the shockmounts initially not fitting very well, but I thought SP had addressed the problem. Did you buy yours new?

My pair is fabulous.

He has sinced fixed the problem and will send you new mounts if you ask him. He's cool.

The first run batch from the factory had a flaw in the shockmounts. The problem has since been fixed, and Studio Projects will send you the new mounts for free if you contact them.
