i just downloaded this song and i was wondering wich effect was used to get that sound. i dont think its so hard and maybe a phaser would do it but i need some opinions

That "whoosh sound" in the intro sounded to me like it's probably simply a wah-wah pedal on the guitar that's panned left with a clean sounding guitar panned right. (Or could be 1 signal split left/right with the wah-wah just on the left channel)
