im not sure what exactly you want, but here is a basic setup i did in acid, follow this and you will start to learn the basics

the high hat (or whatever percussion) falls on the 1 2 3 4

the kick falls under the 1 then the snare under the 3

then just have that loop, and there is a basic hip-hop beat you can fiddle around with
