I'm recording with a G4/MOTU 2408/Audio Desk rig. Right now I'm using a 1604 VLZ pro when I need multiple preamps (for drums mostly). A guy I know recommended an HHB Radius 10 "tube based(?)" four channel preamp. I didn't get a chance to listen to it, but at around $600 it seems like a good idea. I NEVER see anyone talking about HHB gear on this BBS, and although I know that doesn't make it bad, ya gotta wonder. The "Classic" series stuff is in the multi-grand price range usually, so that could explain that but the Radius stuff seems reasonably priced for what it does. I'm into trying anything with my own ears but i thought I'd see if there were any opinions first. Anyone use the stuff?

Thumbs up

I am not familier with anything but the HHB cd burner (CDR850). It is a little expensive ($1050) but what a great piece of equipment.
This is really a high class product.

It's funny you should ask. I'm going to have my hands on one in a few days to try out.
