Unhappy

Howdy everyone. Just wondering if someone out there could tell me: since the TC Electronic M-ONE has S/PDIF ins and outs and 24-bit/48kHz converters, couldn't it be used as a direct A/D D/A converter frontend to soundcards with S/PDIF ins and outs? In other words, if you just bypass the effects (or even if you don't), can't it do the same exact thing that dedicated converters such as the Midiman Flying Cow can do? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Joe Bonomo

Thumbs up

Yes,indeed it can!But it still costs more than the Cow...However,it has compression and gating algorithms as well as the usual suspects reverb, delay, etc. which should add to the value.Cheers!
