I want to purchase a pre-amp, tube or solid state, and was wondering what the advantage of having a stereo vs. mono unit. I record mostly in stereo so I am guessing that I want something with dual inputs.. Do all mono units have two outputs ? The same thing applies to compressors as well. Any advice is welcome.

I would try out the JoeMeek VC6Q and see what you think they have a warm soft signature sound to them. Buy one from a big store like Mars and then just try it for like 2 weeks if you dont like it take it back and try another. I knew those superstores were good for something.
Oh it has Two outputs as well as a Input on the front which is nice. http://www.mp3.com/codyyoung http://www.codyyoung.com |
