Behringer MIDI pedal

I see on the back of this MIDI pedal ( the one with a volume and wah) that theres 2 'switch' inputs. Does this control items that arnt MIDI. Could i control something like my alesis MIDIverb III and my peavey rocktron pre amp with this pedal?
