midi question

if i want my music from my keyboard with midi in/ out to play through my computer with midi in/ out. how do i hook it up.

also i have fruity loops. how do i use my sounds from my keyboard as an instrument on fl studio. what do i have to set on fl studio to make this happen.

midi out of card to midi in on keyboard
basically creating a loop
only the first connect needed for using softsynths

You realize that the sound of the keyboard will not travel through the MIDI cables, right? It's only MIDI data -- which notes, bow hard they are struck, how long they are held, etc.

I don't know anything about Fruity Loops but I assume that you can send out MIDI messages to your MIDI interface and trigger the keyboard with it. The sounds won't be "in" Fruity Loops, in the way that FL's software sound sources are -- just the instructions that tell the keyboard what sounds to play.
