2 cubase SX1 questions

1. While recording, cubase saves each track in file even if you delete it from the Cubase project file. Is there an easy way to delete all the unused tracks?

2. How do you change the analog outputs to mono? I cant get them out of stereo???

thanks!
T

For question 2.

I know on the master level meter thingy in the mixer view... theres a button with two circles.. click that. It will go to one circle, being mono. Click it again to go back.

Hopefully this helps you.

To remove unwanted files... go to the audio Pool window and select "Remove unused media" from the POOL menu.......

If you are refering to the bus outs it is not possible to turn these into mono. instead pan your audio tracks hard left or right in the mixer page and then bring up the output bus page and decouple the faders

I have no SX in front of me but I think you also could
-Save the track as wave file monoand then import it.
-On the Pool > convert > mono
MILLSY5: could you explain me how to decouple the faders?. Txs.
Alejo.

Press F4 and the bus outs page will appear. Between each set of stereo faders there is a button which will be highlighted. Click on this and hey presto you can move the faders independantly. Also you could set them to different positions and the couple them again and they will remain the same distance appart.

Cheers

Keith
