Acid midi sync

I'm fairly new to midi, so bare with me

I've been trying to sync Acid pro to my tascam 688 midistudio....with zero results.

Does anyone have any tips/suggestions? I've never worked with syncing before...are there any other peices of gear I should need to do this other than a midi cable from my comp to the multitrack?

Which device are you trying to make the MASTER?

ACID PRO or the TASCAM?

yeah what he said... but can't help but mention that the beauty of acid is that it offsets for latency... if you can swing a low enough latency to not use acid you should just use another app.

BUT.... maybe you just need to adjust some settings in the preferences tab... hope you get it going
