there is a relatively new product in australia..
Alto is the brand,,
I guess they are simalar in price to behringer...

Anyone out there own one of these or heard em?
I know they have a rack effects unit that looks the part..
surely it's better than Beh'

I've never heard of the company, nor worked with any of their products.

But I can already tell you they suck, and their stuff sounds like shit.

Granted, I have no idea what their stuff is like. It could be great for all I know.

I just wanted to be the first to say it sucks -- just in case it does.

Yes, someone posted the same question a while back and lots of people slammed it. I had trouble believing that they all had actually used the gear but, none-the-less, they bashed it anyway.

There doesn’t seem to be many reviews out there yet. Well, none that have come up on my searches anyway.

Alto does have a sweet looking dynamics solution in the CLE8. It looks like it may be useful for live remote recording.

The price is right. I wouldn’t be afraid to give it a try.
