Switching from External Sync.

I 'am utilizing cubase SX 1.0, but for some reason the software let's me know it's been switched on to external sync, can anybody give me some light into this situation ?

what other equipment are you using? ie soundcards, breakout boxes, digital mixers......

Uncheck the SYNC switch in the transport panel, or disable it completely in the device config menu............
