Filter Boxes?!?
There are lot of Filter boxes such as the Mutator, Sherman Filterbank, Electrix Filter Factory and the Waldorf X-Pole on the market. But which one do you think is the best? Which do you think is the most praiseworthy?

I think the Sherman Filterbank is kind of harsh with its sweeps. The Mutator is pretty pleasant, but I haven't worked with it extensively. I have a Electrix Filter Factory, which works perfectly for my needs. I got it for $90 when guitar center blew out all the Electrix products 3 years ago. I've never even seen an X-pole in person
Line 6 makes a filter modeler, which I believe models all the above units, as well as the classic synth filters- Oberheim, Moog, ARP, Waldorf, etc... I've never used it, but you can probably find it for the same price as any of the real units, and it could give you alot more variety.. |

Actually!?
Do you know if there are any good filter softwares? I'm running a Digi001 ProTools LE Factory system with a G4 733 in OS9.2. I have a MoogerFooger and a couple of resonators and distorsions in there, would that be enough?!? What do I need in order to filter? |
