I've been lurking here for a while, and I figure that it's a great place to get feedback. I've been playing guitar for eight years, and I've been recording for about 6 years. The samples I would like to get feedback on were recorded on a TASCAM 424mkIII with Behringer XM8500 microphones. It was all mixed down to tape and then transfered to the computer. The kind of sound I was going for was the old Beck albums like Stereopathetic Soul Manure and One Foot In The Grave mixed with a little bit of Dashboard Confessional Swiss Army Romance. I was just wondering if I could get your honest opinions about these songs:

The first song is called 'the best for you is all i ever asked for'
It is about only wanting the best for the one you love.

The second song is called 'goodnite kisses'
It's about the anticipation from being in a relationship with distance between locations of about 83 miles.

There is music on the days apart site, but it's not in the normal place it's under the merchandise area. The site may have exceeded bandwidth... if so try again in an hour... However the soundclick link is working for me.... that's with a wiped cache and cookie file. So I don't really know how I can help you... but please leave the hostilities someplace else.
