sonar and duo

I can't get the audio driver bit depth setting in SONAR 3 to be 24bit. I'm using an M Audio Duo and I know it is capable of 24bit/96khz, but it will only let me record in 16/41. I have downloaded the new drives from M Audio's site, but still can't get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have another sound card in your computer? Disable it under Options > Audio > Drivers.

Then set the M-Audio as your playback and recording master under Options > Audio > General. On the same page, set your Audio Driver and File Bit Depth to 24.

Run the Wave Profiler and I think afterwards you'll need to exit and reenter Sonar.

I use the quattro which is basically the same. You change the bit rate in the m audio controll panel. You might have to go to the m audio websit e and download the latest driver. The higher the bit rate the less inputs you have .
