Acid Pro Question

Hello everyone, my question/problem is..... I have a Yamaha PSR292 keyboard connected and for some reaon some of the keyboards sounds dont playback in Acid Pro. For example, the bass, strings, piano sounds play correctly but when it comes to the drum kits, & dj sounds instead of playing them Acid plays/records back regular piano sounds in the PC. Does any1 know how 2 correct this?

If you want to access the sounds of your Yamaha board, you will have to connect it to the soundcard..

TXABE,

If you're thinking the MIDI data from the keyboard is audio data, you need to learn what MIDI is.

Here's some reading: http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com/studio/midi.html

Another goofy question, a no brainer....I downloaded some VSTi 'sbut for some reason when I open them they always come out in the same window where the chopper & file explorer are. How can I drag the VSTi out of that window and just have it anywhere else.

RTFM...

Grab (left-click and hold) the vertical bar on the right-hand side of the AUDIO PLIG IN tab.

That should undock the window.

Also try ALT-5
