Wiring a balanced TRS cable...

A buddy gave me a Symetrix 528E Voice Processor, the manual says to use a TRS phone jack (wired unbalanced) to route the signal between the various modules of the processor.

I have a shitload of TRS patch cables, but exactly how do I wire them unbalanced? Why not just use Tip/Sleeve connections?

Goto the APHEX web site... and download the user manual for the Aphex 204..... for some unknown (yet very thoughtful) reason they included several pages in the manual on how to wire cables in all different ways to help resist noise. Diagrams are included.

This will only take 2 minutes.... go download it. Your question will be answered, I believe.
