input muted when I arm for record.

Hi Sonar 3 here.

When I arm my track for recording, my input signal goes dead. When I turm the arm ooff, I can again hear my signal through the headphones. I use a SB audigy platinum drive. Everything works fine in Cake 9, so i must be missing something concerning output busses or something. maybe an option?

Jeff

Wow - that's weird. That's opposite of how it works for me. I can't hear it until I arm the track. Do you have Input Monitoring turned on? I'm not at my Sonar computer, but if I remember correctly, there's a little Input Monitoring button near the Arm/Solo/Mute buttons for the track that you can use to turn it off/on. You may also have to go into Options - Global?? (maybe Audio - I always go into the wrong one first ) and find the Input Monitoring tab and make sure that you are allowing it (I might just be remembering this from Sonar 2 though, so you may not need to do this).

HTH,
-Jeff

Make sure you have "full duplex recording" checked in Cakewalk options.
